We all have that mountain of stash. Claire has a great way to clear some of it out while making beautiful quilts. This
pattern looks complicated but turns out to be a fooler. These quilts could make very nice gifts for the Holidays,
baby showers, off to college, really any occasion you can think of. Check out her sample in the classroom. We  
have two more classes set to go in this stash buster series with samples already to be seen in the shop. The
dates for the other two classes are Thursday October 14 and Wednesday November 17.


Mary's table Topper, Sunday October 3, 11:00 - 2:00,
Class $25.00
Join Mary piecing together a great table topper. She has done this sample in festive Halloween fabrics, but you
can match your decor or choose another holiday to highlight. This would also make a fabulous gift for someone
special.


Strippy Pumpkin, Carol Grant, Sunday September 19, 12:00 - 3:00

Carol has designed a quick, fun wall hanging or tablerunner for the Fall / Halloween season. These strippy
pumpkins are bright and festive but could easily be toned down for a more traditional Autumn look. This sample is
hanging in the classroom.

Betty Lou is a fantastic crazy quilter. She has designed really fantastic stitches. Spiders, skeletons,and pumpkins
to name a few of the holiday trappings adorn this whimsical piece. You should see the sample, the detail and
humor are just wonderful.


Hoopless with Jessie, Jessie Cantrell, Monday September 20, 7:00 - 9:00

Hoopless is back. This much asked for fun class with Jessie will teach you hand quilting without a hoop. We all
know how talented she is with all her hand work and this is your chance to walk away with some of her great tips
in a no stress evening class. We have samples to look at in the store.


Tee Shirt Quilt, Robin Tier, Wednesdays Sept. 22 7:00 - 9:00, Sept. 29 6:00 - 9:00, & Oct. 6:00 - 9:00

Robin is known for her wonderful Tee Shirt quilts. Most of us have a pile of our kids tee shirts saved in a closet
with the intention of surprising them with a great memory quilt to hang on to. Where to start? Need a set time to
actually accomplish this task? Come out on these nights and learn all the tricks from Robin. We have one of her
quilts on display.


Twister, Pat Farace, Wednesday October 27, 2:00 - 5:00 or 7:00 - 10:00

This is a cool design that gives a pinwheel on point pattern. Pat teaches you how to use a special ruler that makes
this seemingly difficult quilt top quite easy. Come in and check out her sample.


I Spy, Pat Farace, Saturday October 9, 10:00 - 4:00

What a great quilt to gift a child with. Birthdays, holidays, even baby showers, we all have many opportunities to
use this design. We will help find great I Spy centers to add to those already in your stash. So come out for this
sure to be fun class. The sample can be seen in the classroom.


Gifts Galore, Vickie Lombardo, Sunday October 24, 10:00 - 4:00

Vickie has made her sample in gorgeous Christmas fabrics, but these "gifts" look great in any fabrics that have a
good contrast with each other. Vickie has fun teaching so you are guaranteed to enjoy yourself too. Her beautiful
sample is in the classroom.


Ribbon Weave, Maria Sendzik, Sunday Sept. 26, 10:00 - 4:00

This is a great quilt to try out the Stack and Whack technique. Maria is the reigning queen of Stack and Whack in
our neck of the woods. She has this down and teaches it with ease, making it fun. Your results will be fantastic,
The sample is hanging in the classroom.


Zippy Strippy, Maria Sendzik, Saturday October 23, 10:00 - 4:00,

This is a Stack and Whack class and no one teaches this technique better than Maria. Her sample is hanging in the
classroom. Her focus fabric is there too so you can see that even "ugly" fabric, Maria's term not mine, looks great
when whacked. So if there is something in your stash that you don't know what you were thinking bring it along

Beginner's Appliqué, Susan Losapio, Thursdays Oct. 7, 21 & Nov. 4, 18, 7:00 - 9:00

There are many ways to Appliqué, and everyone has their favorite. In this Appliqué class you will learn several
techniques, at least nine. After taking the class you will be able to pick and choose which works best for you in
any design situation.

Class: $100.00 for four sessions
We will teach you all the basics starting with picking fabric for your quilt, using a rotary cutter and ruler, then strip
piecing, and adding  borders. Oh but you are not done yet, we teach sandwiching your quilt and hand and machine
quilting. Then you also learn how to make and put on your binding.  At the end of this class you will have the
confidence to move on to your next quilt project.


Quilt As You Go Tablerunner, Mary Nathanson, D

All Welcome, Pattern required
Mary has wonderful success with this technique. By the end of this class you can leave with this project quilted
and only needing the binding to be completed. Come see her beautiful samples hanging in the front of the shop.
This is a great gift idea.


Sew What Fridays, Aug. 6, 20, Sept. 10, 24, 6:00 - 10:00
Fee: $15.00
Enjoy 4 hours of uninterrupted quilting time. This is a great block of time to finish some of those UFO”s, meet with
other quilters, share ideas, stories and get all the help you need. We always have coffee, tea and nice desserts.


Mystery Quilt Night, Sept. 21, 6:00 - 10:00

Who doesn't love a good mystery? Start off by staking out our three fantastic fabric ways to choose from. Prior to
class receive secret cutting directions along with your choice of fabric, ah but to solve the mystery you’ll have to
join your fellow quilt detectives that night. Come out for a fun night where all will be revealed.


Stiletto Doll Class, Bunny Goode, Watch for New Dates

Bunny's dolls are beautiful and full of character. Stiletto is no exception, a classy vamp that is just stunning.
Everyone who joins Bunny in class learns everything they need to know about creating a doll. Everyone leaves
with a fantastic face too. All while having a lot of fun.


Embroidery Club, Mondays, September 13, October 11

Fee: $5.00/month
Come join a great group of women the second Mondays of each month from 7:00-9:00 pm (NOTE: time change).
You can work on your own embroidery project or join in the first group chosen project of beautiful teacups.

Mary's Shops, Mary Nathanson, New Dates Soon, 11:00 - 2:00,

These shops are very cute and make a wonderful quick gift for anyone if you can bear to part with them. You can
choose from any of the patterns in this line to make with Mary. She has given these to her groomer, beautician,
favorite quilt shop owner, to name a few. There is a small town of samples in the class room to look at.


Fabric Painting Workshop, Susan Losapio, Saturday September 25, 9:00 - 12:00 (morning)
Class $25:00
This is a great fun class. You will make two or three pieces of painted fabric while learning different techniques.
The paint and brushes are supplied all you need to bring is a yard and a half to two yards of PFD fabric. This time
around anyone that has specific desires, such as sky, will be guided so that they can achieve those as well.

Hand and machine piecers are both welcome.I know you have seen the Dear Jane quilts and marveled at the
petite blocks and the incredible amount of variety in their patterns. Carol will be teaching at least a couple of
blocks during each class while imparting her knowledge about Jane and her life. This is a great way to learn to
work these small and somewhat intimidating blocks. Claire's version will be on display in August at the store.

a store credit will be issued. Please check your calendar carefully when signing up for
a class.
- NO CHILDREN OR GUESTS ARE ALLOWED to sit in on the class.
- CANCELLATIONS BY MOUSE CREEK: If a class is cancelled due to insufficient
enrollment, you will receive a full refund or store credit. Please enroll early to
ensure that minimum enrollment numbers are met so that a class you wanted isn't
cancelled before you sign up.
