We are sponsoring a mystery quilt getaway Lancaster weekend for Mouse Creek Quilters ONLY with M&J Quiltaways! April 24,25,26 2009 Details are in the shop Space is limited to 12. There are 6 spots left!
We are so happy with our new space. You must really come to see it if you haven't already. The classroom is huge and so sunny. On those rare moments that we can grab a quick cup of coffee, that is our favorite place to be.
Our August pointsettia and fall foliage mystery quilt class was on Tuesday and almost everyone finished their quilts that night. They were absolutely fantastic. We couldn't decide which colorway we liked better, they were both unbelievably beautiful. Hopefully, someone from class will let us hang their quilt up so you can all appreciate how beautifully they came out. I will be trying to get more of the pointsettia fabric in because it is probably the most gorgeous flower I've ever seen.
Susan and I have put our heads together, and are working on a great quilt contest for the Fall. We will be revealing the details and patterns by September 1.
NEW EARLY FALL SCHEDULE IS POSTED!!! There are lots of new classes to enjoy. So sign up early. We will also be adding some quick make and take classes for holiday gift giving. Susan has started lining up the Fall classes with your favorite instructors. We have some new teachers coming on board also, with new classes and projects. Many classes will be back by popular demand, so keep watching.
Some new panels. Come in or call for info. We are taking phone orders on them. There is a really artistic cat panel that arrived that will be a favorite of any cat lover. Start thinking of those holiday projects. See you at the "Mouse", the "Big Cheese!", Claire

Maria's Peanut Butter Chocolate Rice Krispie Treats
8 oz. Fluff (1/2 a container)

overcook.
Add:

Stir. I put the bowl back in the microwave for about 30 sec. to soften it up for easier stirring. Stir again. Spray 9X13 pan with PAM to avoid

Here's the answer to the question: There is a
creek named Mouse Creek in our
development. Truth be told, it's actually
Titmouse Creek (from the little bird), but I
couldn't go there. And no... it's not Moose
Creek :) Though that would have been a cute
name also.
Susan (who will be running the classroom and Art Quilt Studio), Lynn, Claire and Patty. I found the pattern
for the quilt on the chair!
What in the world is Claire doing now?
I thought you might like to see what I'm working on for the shop. I hope to get them done in a timely fashion, but time is going faster than I
can sew.
Coming up for embroidery and quilt fans. :Crabapple Hill Studios- Over the River & Through the Woods. I am doing it in Moda's Peace on
Earth collection, which is dark chocolate browns, reds and greens. I remember now how much I liked doing embroidery, it's so relaxing and
a great take it with you project. It's almost done! just some flying geese to go.
Taxi by Heidi Pridemore. This bright yellow and black fabric came in at the beginning of Spring. I have the background all done, just have to
get to the circles on top. It is so summery and cheerful. Great for college students.
